Broomhill Barn

Broomhill Barn has undergone a number of additions from the time it was originally built, thought to be in the 1700s. In particular, the original entrance has been bricked up. What’s interesting about this barn is the chimney stack in the west gable wall. This chimney stack would have been installed to keep the farm workers warm at night – this is unusual in many barns. Broomhill House Farm

Broomhill House Farm is situated in the beautiful parish of Barrow, containing the villages of Great Barrow, Little Barrow and Stamford Bridge. It is situated about 4.5 miles east-north-east of Chester. It was until recently a cattle farm of which the two barn conversions formed part of the milking parlours. Hoofield Hall Barns

Hoofield Hall Barns once formed part of Hoofield Hall in Clotton Hoofield, in the civil parish of Huxley, Cheshire. Situated in one of Cheshire’s most desirable locations near Tarporley, the barns open onto the courtyard of Hoofield Hall.
